They told us to retry, wasting time, finding out what we had already informed them of. We tried using the kiosk to check in, to avoid the long line. We were not able to check in quickly or efficiently, & service was appalling, staff was either poorly trained or uneducated. I did, however, pay for my 3 year old son to accompany me on the flight and I am wholly unsatisfied with the AA team responsible for choosing in-flight ‘entertainment.’ I’m not sure if NBC pays AA to feature their shows or AA has to pay NBC for the pleasure of featuring their trash but either way, what in the world are you guys thinking?"Ĭons: "Almost missed our flight home because American Airlines lost/screwed up our round trip tickets. Why on earth is it necessary to show this tv show (or any show that has mature/adult ratings) on a flight that is obviously going to have audiences of all ages? Our flight had a dozen or so children and when you show prime time trash on the overhead TVs, it’s really tough to keep kids from looking forward the entire length of the 2 hour flight so they don’t watch a woman being raped, a man being beaten, or someone being held at gunpoint. The NBC show that was playing on every overhead TV on the flight featured a woman being sexually assaulted by a man, someone being bludgeoned with a piece a wood until they lay unconscience in a pool of blood, and woman with a gun to her head as she’s being yelled at by multiple men. The issue, however, is the media AA chose to play at 8:30am.

Cons: "DAMAGED MY LUGGAGE EXTENSIVELY, THIS IS THE THIRD TIME BY THE WAY), KEEPS REFERRING ME TO AN INSURANCE CO WITH AN E MAIL ADDRESS THAT DOES NOT RESPOND, NO TELEPHONE NUMBER BY THE WAY IS FURNISHED EVEN THOUGH I HAD ASKED FOR, REPEATEDLY.
